About "Torre Norte - Castelo de Pinhel"

Description:
Reedificado por D. Dinis, o castelo apresenta hoje duas torres e uma cintura muralhada articulada por seis torres e aberta por seis portas. Nesta torre Norte destaca-se os dois varandins com mata-cães e uma bela janela manuelina, a figura gárgula gótica a defecar e o interior abobado rematado com a esfera armilar.
Ao fundo pode ver-se a bela aldeia da Quinta-Nova, uma das anexas da Freguesia de Pinhel.
